Alexandros Psychoulis
The Ascension of Dionyssios Solomos to heaven, 1990
engraving on zinc. Handmade edition with 10 etchings, 54x38,5cm
The book was printed in May, 1990 at the engraving studio of the Athens School of Fine Arts, under Professor Th. Exarchopoulos. The copperplates were printed with the aid of Renata Filippousi, Evangelia Befon and Urania Anastasiadou. Texts and headings were prepared with the aid of Ioannis Karlopoulos and printed in silkscreen with valuable help from Akis Pirounidis. Twenty copies were printed on 270gr. Arches Velin paper, numbered from 1 to 20 and signed by the artist.

12 sheets, handmade on 190gr. Waterford paper, colour printed at the silkscreen workshop of Petros Kotziapassis with subsidy from the Youth Secretariat, Nicosia 1992. Each 40x30cm copy is numbered and signed.

Lettres à l’artiste ou angoisse sans nom, 1996
43 sheets, mixed media, 22 sheets with selected texts in (Greek & English) from Vincent Van Gogh’s Letters to Theo and 21 drawings. Single copy, published by Maria Loizidou, Nicosia 1996.

Nikos Houliaras
Time is always on his side, 1989
80 printed sheets from the publication Time is always on his side, Nefeli, Athens 1989, with front cover and illustrations by Nikos Houliaras, © Nikos Houliaras, NEFELI 1998, placed in a Plexiglas box measuring 150x100cm. The poems in the book were written between the spring of 1983 and the summer of 1988.

As with other works of the 1990s, this painting has been variously reproduced in offset, book illustrations and wallpaper rolls. A prolific writer with genuine wit and talent, he has published short stories, commentaries, thoughts and illustrated fiction in which he constantly interweaves writing and images in a subtle and caustic spirit.
